My name is Tania Aréchiga. I live in California, county of San Diego. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Web Design and Development. And an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design.

This last year 2024, I turned 36 and my favorite thing each day is morning breakfast with coffee, which I like having sometime even for dinner. One of my many hobbies I have is photography. Which is something I bought to the business because I can't get enough.

I like to also read books, but it gets hard on my schedule sometimes to find time to sit down and finish a whole book. My personal quality skills are freestyle drawing since a little girl.

I'm self-driven and just want to build art for other people.

We schedule a meeting by email or phone to a local San Diego Coffee Cafe of your choosing near middle distance of our way and discuss ideas, planning and budget.

I deliver you a proposal outline and take 50% payment when ready, and then work on the development of the project going back-and-forth with emails until we are finished and finalize the project.

STEP THREE.

I receive the final payment remaining of the balance and submit you all your working files via request preferred.

What advice can you give who's new?

To practice, practice, practice. This general technology is always evolving and coming out with new things every day. I find it very important to stay updated and connected in career field of web development or graphic design or else there is no doubt you won't fall behind on the trends of what everyone is using.

Not at this moment, I do have a plan to help and teach one day. The future plan is to record how-to tutorials and share and post on YouTube.

What software or tools do I use and recommend?

Do I need a license to run my business from home?

Everyone is different. For me, when I am sketching, at home anywhere in or out in public I carry with me paper and pencil. If traveling its easier for me to carry my Amazon Kindle Fire 10 with a digital 1.5mm pencil, but at the end I am always doing my finishes at home on illustrator and photoshop.

Do I need a license to run my business from home?

That depends on your state and county you live in. For me, where I live it's no longer a requirement in an unincorporated portion of the County of San Diego. For us, this rule was deleted from the Board of Supervisors in August 1998 which my community is excused. While business certificate no longer requires, I do have to obtain a license if I am conducting services within city limits, I must still comply the rules regulations affecting businesses and for information regarding applicable rules, regulations, and permits, I must always visit the State of California Business Portal Cal Gold website.
